Default 1979 Pontiac Trans Am one owner

1979 Pontiac Trans Am. Atlantis Blue on Blue, 403 cu in Olds V8 6.6L, automatic transmission, One Owner, garage kept original condition 53,000 mile car, brought in by the original female owner. A stack of documentation including the original window sticker, dealer printout, temporary registration, warranty booklet, salesmans business card etc… Paint, exterior stickers (including bird), interior, drivetrain are all original. The space saver and canister in the trunk are unmolested. Original California blue plates and NO rust.
A few items I want to mention; there has been an aftermarket radio installed, but the original is with the car. The rear speakers have been changed out. The console lid has a crack (typical) I will include a new repop. This car runs and drives like it should, and looks great in person. A time capsule. The Trans Am’s came pretty loaded, this one has tilt and cruise control and other options listed on sticker. Air blows COLD!
I will post pics of the car and paperwork including the window sticker in the morning. This car cost almost $10,000 in 1979!! Original cars are hard to price but I will do it, $16,900 or reasonable offer. Thanks SYC

neat car

does the window sticker show it didn't come with a radio?

when i worked at a Pontiac dealer in the 70's,all these Trans Ams came with no radio from the factory

prep techs put all the radios in.

The sticker does in fact show the am/fm Delco radio ($236). If you click the link at the bottom of the ad it takes you to several pics of the car and the first one is a scan of the original sticker. Thanks for the question.

Also, I will provide for free to the buyer of this car a Burt Reynolds fake mustache to sport while driving...

Jackie Gleason was absolutely hilarious... a black trans am, which way did it go? you boys just wait kindly here for my associates to show up. Oh and don't go playing with yourself on my highway... it wouldn't look nice... you can think about it but don't do it.

Buford T. Justice, classic.
The lady that bought this car new got it because of that movie. Smokey and The Bandit must have been the salesman's best friend at the Pontiac dealers.
