I found some Yenko pictures I took in 1982-83 that I thought someone might recognize or appreciate them. The pictures of the white car were taken around Lawrenceville GA by a friend that thought I might be interested.I don't know the year of that Pinto but that might date these 3 pictures later than 83. Check out the fender emblem placement & nice wire wheels, it does have 60k on the 140 mph speedo. These other pictures might be from Street Machine nationals?? Bill S or Big Jake might remember. The orange car was Mark McCartneys of Ohio. It was at the Yenko photo shoot from 1981 for Hot rod magazine. Notice the Lakewood three point bar. The car was an amazing car...BKH

Whats with the white car?? no 427 emblems?? no yenko stripes?? Isn't there one white 'douglas yenko' out there? Is this that car?? Also the yenko emblem seems all chrome on the fender...
the stripe also?..was that an original option without the emblem like that? I think I remember seeing that stripe somewhere else...maybe the assembly manual? Awesome pics !! so many Yenkos in one place... I luv the orange car with the 3 point rollbar !! |

The rear emblem on my car was kind of faded & chalky, not much paint left on it. Did you guys notice the rear panels painted black on the orange & maroon cars.George |

This one pictured was the other. This white car was restored likely a few years after this photo was taken as I saw it in Florida in the mid 80's at the Cypress Garden Muscle Car show.
