So, would it have a dashes on the TT even for a SS car? |

Never mind, I just remembered a 68 375hp I found sitting since 1970 w/11k miles in Riverside that had dashes for strip delete, at least that's what I thought at the time. I think it was the same color as this one too.

Hmmm... Kurt, for my own edification, why couldn't you order the car without stripes? You could order a 70 Chevelle without stripes? IIRC, the 1968 Camaro on the cover of Alan Colvin's book, Chevrolet by the numbers was ordered without stripes as well. Just wondering the basis for concluding that the 68 on e-bay is not all original paint because of the lack of stripes?? Thanks Orlando |

kurt is correct. this british green car on ebay( not the picture bkh just posted) had an accident in 1971. front left fender, hood and various front end parts were replaced and repainted in 71 the owner liked the look of the front end after painting without the stripes and took off the rest of the stripes with a hairdryer still a terrific car i would love to own, and i tried, just not all original metal and paint. the trim tag shows ZZ not -- |

A friend of mine had the exact same car 25 years ago. I wonder if its the same car. My friend passed away many years ago and I always wondered what happened to that car. Cool car.
