I know of an engine (not sure if the tranny went with it) that went from a totaled red 67 Z into a 57 210 2 door hardtop. But... it didn't stay in that car too long. Engine was sold in favor of a 327.
In fact, the 57 owner still had the original 67 Z oil pan in his attic many years later. I gave Mike Jones (Jonesy) the lead, and he bought it for a Dusk Blue Z.
