Any Torque Thrust experts out there? These 15x7 wheels just came to me and I would like to know if they are first generation Torque Thrust or Torque Thrust D wheels. I believe they are first generation but want to be sure so I don't misrepresent them.
Thanks! Jason ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

They certainly look like "D's" to me. The spoke has a curve to it from the look in the pictures. If you have a Corvette with disc brakes, slap one on with no lug nuts to see if it fits.

These are Ford pattern . Do all the Torque thrusts D's have "Torque Thrust "D" cast into the back side? These do not have the "D".

Here are a few more pictures of the spokes. I think the pictures make them look curved when they are not.

Look more like the Original TTs to me. They're repopping these and are now called TTOs.
Here's a shot of my Nova. These are late 60s/early 70s vintage TTs. ![]()

The TTO's are tapered seat, they do not use the shank type lug nut like the ones pictured.
These appear to be Vintage Torque Thrusts I believe the design is a T70. The oxidation seems to mask the lines of the cast spokes but they look like they are vintage T70's.

Don't T70s use the push in cap? I'm pretty certain these are 60s first design torque thrsuts.
Thanks, Jason |

No I'm pretty sure the T70s are the Original model and use the screw on cap with tabs.
