These cars were just stolen at BJ.

That selling price was nuts!!! $110,000 for the pair?

They were both preproduction assembly line pilot cars.

I remember both of those cars from the 1980s. I still have photos of both of them somewhere. One was in CT and the other was in MA.

It was like the auctioneers purposely snuck them through between the million dollar cars and couldnt get them off the block soon enough for the next million dollar car.

Never sell a pair of cars at auction. Never ever.

dont be fooled. theres a lot of road runners out there with satellite bodies on them. and a few of the supposedly original hemi A-bodies arent so original as they would have you think.

My 'rebody' comments were more a slant on the #9 ZL1 chit-chat going on...

I wonder which car the guy decided to sell? Surely you'd keep the 71 Hemi? maybe??

I would have kept the ragtop. Nothing runs like a 440 sixpack with a stick. That love it or hate it bodystyle grows on you.
