Is there anyone that restores 68,69 consules?I have a burn in the top piece that needs to be repaired. Not sure how to repair it. thanks John

is the burned area in a hard plastic textured surface? Can you post a pic?

If you can find a donor piece of the same console plastic then the bad area can be cut out, donor piece put in and then with enough time and patience the "seam" can be hidden. I've done this on a couple consoles and console related pieces.
It'll have to be painted after that type of repair. I guess you could also try to find a local auto vinyl/leather repair specialist and see if they have any ideas.
