The Shelby version has bigger motor, supercharger, more horsepower, and a not so tacky paint job.
Yes it's $9k more, but ...

That may be true but, I think the Boss 302 is supposed to be a better balanced car. I think Ford used the BMW M3 as their target when developing the Boss.

and thoroughly trounced the M3 at Laguna Seca. The Boss is a normally aspirated 302 with almost 450 hp, . Quite impressive as its got CNC-machined cylinder heads; 11:1 compression, 8.5 quart oil pan, Sodium-filled exhaust valves; forged pistons, connecting rods and crankshaft and can safely turn 7500 rpm. Its a killer motor

I drove a GT500 this past summer and that car was very impressive. I definitely enjoyed it.

It also beat 5 other cars. I believe it was rated as high as 5 out of 11 contestants and has the lowest price tag. This car is stable at 140mph in 5th with 1 more gear to go! Not to say the least that this thing doesn't seem to ever stop pulling. Can't wait to see what the Track Key has to offer. As far as the look of the car, its retro Boss302 and badass! They are awesome cars but they seem to have an oiling issue and I know of a few that have already lost their engines so it sounds like they need a little more engineering to fix that problem. Has anyone heard if they made changes to the motor yet to take care of the oiling issue?
