Default 1969 L78 el camino (super low miles)

I am posting this for my friend, and consider this a real rare muscle car worthy of this site. I almost bought this car. It has the original motor and I spoke with the original owner.
If you ever wanted a sweet el camino, this is it.

He is asking $48K obo. Don't be afraid to offer something less.

----A couple of members of this sight and I were at Pavillions several years ago and one of them asked me what I thought of a candy apple maroon El Camino down the isle. Well, it was this car (truck). They bought it and took it back to Texas. I wanted it too but just had too much stuff going on to pull it off. This is a great El Camino. As you can see by the pictures it still needs tweaking (mostly under the hood) but the bones are excellent. As before, I still have too much on my plate or I would be buying it. It wouldnt replace my "L89/M22" El Camino (one of one ever built) but at least I would be able to drive this one while I opened and shut the vent windows (read the description).....Bill S

bill, that is cool to know about this car (plus you have an L89!).

For when this does sell for planet earth pricing, someone will get a bargain.

If anyone wants to use me to help negotiate the down the earth pricing I am more than welcome to help. six three zero 485 8249.

----Bob,,,"Had" would be the correct word here as I sold the car to the owner of Mr.Gasket (Joe Hrudka) back in 1975 or so with 16,000 miles on it. Thought I was selling for the very last dime at $5,500. would love to do over that transaction! I think the car resides in New Jersey now, but if Im wrong someone please correct me......Bill S

Car appears to be selling today. More than a few folks stepped up to $31,500.
Thanks yenko.net.

It's a great car with the L78, I can't imagine it with an L88.
Holy cow.........

I spent lots of hours on that white El Camino. It's a great car with a great story. Paperwork and real motor, too.
