I was thinking about using this in one of my projects or selling this NOS shortblock on Ebay and thought maybe I should see if someone from this forum had a better use for it...…
What I have is a NOS GM built 1979 Vintage Corvette L82 350 partial short block assembly. This was purchased over the counter in the early ‘80’s and never final assembled or used. Here is the basic information you’d be interested in: Block number 14016379 with date code M32, 4 bolt mains with windage tray studs, no assy code or VIN stamps on front engine pad. Pistons are number 464664 Forged flat top (aprox 9:1 with 76 CC heads, 10:1 with 64 CC heads) Forged steel crank Pink rods Freeze plugs Cam bearings 2482 main caps I’m shooting for something around $2000.oo. I’ll toss in a roll around block dolly which can be bolted to a pallet if shipping was necessary. I believe it cost $1500.00 when purchased new and I figure you can’t buy these parts new, have machine work done and assemble a short block for much less than that….???... Shipping would be your responsibility. I’m in Northern Ca and pickup would be preferred, but am open to options. We have a loading dock at work (in Napa) and this could be picked up there if that is helpful. Touch base with me if you have any questions or wish to talk. Cell number 707-287-5041 or email at [email protected]. Thanks! Charlie ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
