I would expect a way better restoration for almost $200,000.
Stripe done wrong, '69 wheels, '67 hub caps, '67 mirror, NAPA wiper motor, stupid tank strap "insulators" Chevy never used missing AIR system, aftermarket rear springs. The photo of the tag shows dirt & rust under new paint. If it is real it deserves to be re-done correctly.

The power steering pump pulley is wrong and the crank pulley is for a non-ps car.

I don't think it has the "deep center" chrome air cleaner lid on it either? Looks like a cheap Summit Racing version? Correct me if I am wrong.

They never came from the factory with stickers on them ...

I bet alot more people would join this site or put more rare finds on this site if you guys wouldnt BASH every car that pops up. I dont know the guy or the car,but I'd be pissed if I were him. Maybe he didnt have the funds for all NOS parts,or maybe he didnt have the knowledge?? Who knows it might be a Clone or made up. Just seems like this site is all about BASHING others cars, and someone else's work...

I get where you are coming from but this site is also about education... and maybe the guy who owns the car did not know any better. Maybe he paid good money to have the car restored and now he can learn a few things , double check and go back to the shop that did the work and say , "hey you did this this and this wrong" If it was my car I would want to know. And if it is a L89 rag top it is a rare car a worth a discussion IMO because maybe a person who is a particpant on this board may come across a simliar car and will know what to look for.

Jimmy I agree with you, but, if you are asking $198k for this car, it better be restored right. Kurt
