Default Mark Brewer of The Motorworks passes away

Anyone who knows the SCW knows Mark Brewer. Mark is the go to guy on all of our engines. Today we were shocked to learn that he passed away after complications with surgery to remove a tumor that was in his leg. This is a very sad day in Latrobe...BKH

His last engine for us was Tony Lucas' DANA 427. He was very happy with that one. He was having a hard time finishing the engine and Mark was anxious to squeeze a bit more power from that 427. The plan was right after Chicago to give the motor a final tweek after he got out of surgery. Mark was a true "good guy" in the hobby, and his loss is very difficult for us...BKH

Our condolences to the family and the SCW group as I am sure you were all very tight. What a tragic loss and over something likely deemed a very straightforward surgery. Very tough.

Sorry to hear this Brian. It's bad enough to lose anyone in the car hobby, but to lose a close friend as well, ..... and unexpectedly, .... it shakes us to reality. Hold your friends close and cherish every minute.

My sincere condolences.
