Good question. Have been a true Mopar owner and fan for years. They are out there. I have a network of true Mopar guys that know where they are. You would be surprised how many real deal hemis are out there in need of restoration. Not cheap mind you so be realistic. Are you talking A, B, or E bodies? What year(s), condition, and price range?

Thanks for your reply

Like you said hemi's are out there i know of about 5 or 6 for sale right now but I always seem to bump into auto's and i would prefer a 4 speed

I would love a 70 Road runner or GTX But i'dd settle for any late b body, charger, super bee, road runner, GTX ect

I wouldn't mind a project any conditon, Ive seen total basket cases start from about 15k and complete cars in 40's - 50k

Would you say a realistic price is 50k in todays market?

Kind Regards

If you can buy a done car for $50K you would be crazy to buy a $15K basket case. You could not BEGIN to restore one can come out ahead.

It all depends on what you want.

I think that 45-50k for a real "project" is a possibility.

i got a story that'll make you cringe. guy down the street from me had a blue 69 coronet. hemi car with a 4 speed. low miles. never drove it just started it up once every two weeks. that noise was amazing. one day it disappeared. he traded it in on a new srt8 neon. he got 15 grand for it. i was shocked. to this day ive never seen another one like it
