Does anyone have a coil application chart , or know what application a Delco Remy coil with a "425 BR" would be?
It was mounted in a 1972 Pontiac V8 coil bracket I picked up a few years ago (the bracket was a unique one year only item and the coil didn't look like it had ever been touched) |

As I recall, that coil was only used on Pontiacs built in Canada. I'll check later to be sure.

Wow, so that's actually the correct coil for my 72 T/A. Glad I didn't toss it out!
It has a couple dings in the cannister so I guess I'll test it, clean it up, and install it. Thanks for the info! ![]() |

By the way, do you have the specs for it? I want to check the ohm rating, etc, to see if it's still good.
