I think I asked a few years ago with little response, but does anyone know what happened to the blue Motion camaro that was for sale in The Want Ad Press back in the 90's...It was light blue with white stripes and had flared fenders all the way around and a 454 and all the Motion Goodies..and reciepts for the conversion that was done in 74? for 10k...
I could have bought the car but someone had added T-tops later and that really sacred me at the time?? I offered the guy 3500 and he said he had the car sold for 5k to someone that just wanted the drivetrain...but I passed...duh!! hehe Has that car showed up anywhere?? Does anyone have access to the old Want Ad Press ads?? ![]() Has that car showed up?? |

I actually think it may have been a 70 camaro..but if I rememeber correctly it was just a plain jane car..and therefore had a 10 bolt with 4:10 insatlled motion gears..and it was an automatic also...

There is a light bue/white Motion Camaro. Second gen, documented, well known car around. I do not know the current owner but I'm sure someone here does.

I went to look at that car back then.I kept a copy of the invoice that the guy was handing out.The car was in fact a 72,It had a 10 bolt with 4.10's.The LS6 was just rebuilt, and ran great.the car was super solid. It had huge flares all around and Hurricane wheels I think.Wheel flkares were cracking and the car was half primed, but it would have been an easy restore, nice interior and all the original Motion work intact. It was converted in 76 I think and the owner was a guy from Patterson New Jersey with an Itailian or Hispanic sounding name. The car was in Pomption Plains when I saw it I think.I have posted around these forums a few times with no results.I will post back if I find it.
