Rare Z11 picture?

Hey guys,

I was flipping through an old Car Craft in the reading room and saw this photo of the '69 396 Pace Car from Indy and saw the hood lock on the hood. How many of the Z11's got these hood locks?

I'm sure the pacecar experts will chime in but I'm pretty sure they were only used on the car(s) that actually paced the race, as a safety precaution.

And it looks like the high speeds almost ripped the top windsheild trim off.

I don't see a pin protruding thru the hole in the hood.

Those are probably flush locking hood pins.
