Went down to the Good Guys Rod and Custom show on Friday 07/10/2009 in Columbus at the State Fairgrounds with Grady "1969grb" and Phil "Woj". We met up with Mike "M22Mike", Brian "BKH" and Joe from the Super Car Workshop, Frank and Caleb Arone and Doug "hugger 69 copo"
We had a great time and baked in the sun. It was about 90 degrees but we had a nice breeze. The amount of cars present was unbelievable. The best part was watching them all funnel out of the State Fairgrounds at closing time... Anyhow, I took some pictures for your enjoyment. I apologize for not taking many pictures of street rods, I am partial to musclecars but do appreciate the street rods. There were a ton of nice ones there!! Enjoy...... Rich ![]() This was brought by the SCW guys, Brian and Joe, and is a real 69 Yenko Camaro. Very Cool car!! Joe said it was its "last show" before he and Brian start a restoration on the car next week.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is Brian's "BKH" very nice 57 Chevy dual quad car.. Man, I'm nuts about that '57 Chevy 150 Black Widow clone. I've always thought those were sharp, sinister-looking cars. They were Chevrolet's way of telling the world "All right, we're not messing around any more!"
