Default F/S - Original Starter Solenoids1114356

Hi Guys,

I have two Original rebuilt / restored 1114356 Starter Solenoids. They were used on all starters from late 1964 thru 1972 on all (or most) GM Models.

Although they have been rebuilt / restored and re-plated they do still retain their original brown caps. They are guaranteed ready to go with no problems.

I have been having some difficulty with my digital camera. I'll try to post pictures as soon as I can.

Asking $65 shipped or best offer. Looking for quick sales.

PM me or [email protected]

-Dave

Dave, I asked one of my parts # guru's at www.nastyz28.com and got this BELOW reply....

I will await others "opinions" at this time.

Thanks, Chuck

The 1114356 was used for assembly line production and as a service replacement by GM but on Hi-Tork 8418 and 8430 Starters

Original solenoids from 1964 to 1972 have the black cap not the brown cap.

My Delco book notes the 1114356 was not used with the following starters models 1104800 (8418) 4 spd trans 1108429 (8430) auto trans.

The 1114364 solenoid with black cap was used with the 8418 (4 spd trans) and 8430 (Auto trans) Hi-tork starters in 1970

Please see this thread for more info on correct starter and solenoid from a 1970 Z28 Camaro

Chuck,

If this solenoid is incorrect for your application or you do not want / need the solenoid, no problem. Thanks for the info.
