Old gassers and 409 cars event
FYI: I know a few here like the nostalgic gassers and maybe 1 or 2 who like the old boat anchor cars. There is an event planned at Thompson Raceway Park in Ohio June 5-6-7 that will feature both. I don't know how many gassers are registered but according to the 348-409 web site http://www.348-409.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15892 there are over 20 409 cars registered so far. They're under IHRA rules and it will be on index brackets, heads up.

 The mother's of all muscle cars, the 409's,  are "boat anchor" cars?!! No respect, I'm tellin' ya, No Respect!!

New intake, chassis changes, 3500lbs....9.68 (no bottle, steel fenders, iron block & heads, 4-spd)
He's still getting used to hitting second with 3 feet of air under the front tires. He says its "violent". I don't have any recent pictures. It has a different hood on it now.
