Default 1111499 COPO Distributor Back From The Dead

This distributor job was a challenge. Was in a serious engine fire. COPO car. Was able to bring it back. Check out the photos. The car is fine!

Wow Jerry. That is indeed a resurrection. That had to be original to that car to have gone to those lengths!

Jerry, Tell me that you wouldn't take points from someone at legends, if they showed up with a car with a distributor like that one in it ????? Some things should be left for dead.... The vacuum advance is also not correct. . Maybe there are two sets of standards ???? Just my two cents

Frank,

It is a real 1111499 and original to the car. That's what the customer wanted to do. And it was probably the biggest challenge for us to bring it back.

The vacuum advance is a new GM piece, #1116163. I stock them here at the shop. If someone wants to step up for the Paragon correct reproductions, they have that option too.

Will get full credit for either in judging.

Jerry
