Default 69 nova cowl tag Question

Just wondering on a 69 nova which has a paint code of 57 (Fathum Green) and then a E next to paint. Is this for a green vinyl top? Also has a G and an 1 after the date code. Is the one for the vinyl top molding if so what is the G?

Jason

The G is for green interior paint. The one is for one level of exterior trim. Probably bright moldings around the windows. Earl

It has green cloth interior also? I think the code was 742! That has to be one odd color car and it might be a BB car to boot. No paper work

I've seen some weird BB Nova combos, almost bought a 70 L78 car that was Astro Blue with Parchment Vinyl top and blue bench interior, pretty rare

Ok so you guy's are almost talking me into going to look at this car. The car has no documintation, it has the BB heater box and the original 12 bolt BN coded. The car is a 9A built car. Missing the complete front end and original motor and transmision. It has clutch pedals but I think it was an originally an automatic. It still has the hole for the shifter in the column! On the floor inside the car I saw a BB 4-speed crossmember. What automatic would come with the BB nova's only the turbo 400? It will need a trunk pan and a small patch panel in each front floor pan. From the pictures the quarters and doors look good. What do you guy's think it is worth. I know it is hard to tell without pictures?
