1968 Corvette L89 Convertible 20K Original Miles "Day Two" Street Racer Modified

One of 624 L-89 Aluminum head 427 Corvettes produced in 1968. One owner until April 2022. Original bill of sale, original tank sticker, 20K original miles.
This car has race history in class A/SP (A-Stock Production) at local tracks including Atco Raceway and Vargo Dragway in the late 1960's and early 1970's.
Only a few weeks after original purchase from Potamkin Chevrolet in Philadelphia it set a track record 11.89 @117MPH. The E.T. was accomplished with the addition of slicks and a 4.56 gear set installed by Bash Speed Shop, also of Philadelphia.
The car was New Jersey state champion at Atco Raceway in 1975 with an E.T. of 11.68 seconds. This was accomplished with a balanced and blueprinted 1969 L88 427 aluminum head engine still in the car today. It is a "Day Two" street racer modified from early in its life. The car retains the custom paint from 1973 by Barry Hackett Auto Body in Warminster, PA.
This is a 20K original mile car with a never damaged body. It was never used in bad weather. The underside still retains original paint markings and body mount tape. It still has its original spare tire and jack. The interior is original, unrestored including the original soft top and hard top.
It currently has a real L88 hood and the original 427 hood comes with the car still wearing its original Silverstone Silver paint.
Many other original parts come with the sale including the original rims and tires, side pipe covers, intake, exhaust manifolds and hood etc.
