VERY cool car! South Side of Chicago car to boot! See the attachment for a dealer decal from that dealership. It was on a 70 Nova that is local to me.

I wondered the same thing Bill. I can only guess that the original owner either knew someone at Circle or they just happened to have this rare car in thier inventory so he bought it there.

I believe that one belongs to a guy who hangs out on the board here, Harold Metz? Maybe that is why my 71' LS6 only went to 95-100K at Carlisle Saturday. From what I've been told, it's one heck of a car.

I thought I would keep this car forever but, I put money down on mobile home park that is going to make alot of money from day 1. So, with my holding a clear title, in my name on this car I just figured this would be the way to go. I think your car would have done better at Carlisle if there was a larger group of "good" cars that would have drawn the heavy hitters to the auction. The people that I spoke to, felt there was nothing there and spent the afternoon near the coolers.I think you would do better at St. Charles where there is a draw. Warren must have taken the long way home or he would be educating us on the LS6 questions. The last I spoke to him there were 74 of the original 188 cars accounted for. |

Harold, I spoke with Warren at Carlisle while we waited for my car to run through the tent. The total # of located LS6 cars, after the weekend, has now grown to 86 or so, I think a couple of them were verified as destroyed though.
