69 L78 Chevelle KK rear

I am selling a “KK” coded rear that I bought on Ebay earlier this year.

“ This is a 12 bolt rearend to fit 1968-72 Chevelle El Camino GTO Cutlass Buick GS etc. Housing is dated F 16 8 or June 16 1968. Code on tube is KK 06278. Factory 4.10 GM gears (part # on ring gear 3916226 10-41 dated 5/69). Factory rebuilt Eaton 4 series posi (part # is 30174), New Timken bearings and seal, Factory GM c-clip 30 spline axles (bearing surfaces excellent, axles straight/true), new axle seals and bearings.There is some pitting on tubes. Housing has been checked for straightness. Brackets on housing are in real good shape and original. Brake package is all new (wheel cylinders, shoes, springs etc). Drums have been turned. I have tried to describe rear as best as I could without misrepresentation. If returned in same condition shipping non-refundable. Will be put on pallet and taken to truck terminal. The cast date is actually “F 16 9”. Axle code is KK 0627B.
I have a correct dated 5/6-69 3862514-3862525 4.10 ring & pinion set and a 2nd design 4-series posi to go back into it. All parts will be magged and blueprinted when reassembled. I also replaced the drums with new ones.

I took the 3916226-3916228 gears & #234 posi out of it.

I am asking $1200 (OBO) + shipping.

I will also trade for the parts I need for my car. I will post my wanted list later today.

I will be selling all of my extra parts to fund the restoration of my car next year.

I will list all items here first to give members the first chance, before listing on ebay.

My preference is to trade what I have for what I need.
