Saw an ad in this month's Hemmings for an LA built 69 COPO Camaro w/matching #'s. I didn't think there were any LA built COPO's. Anyone know this car?

I believe it is probably the Burnished Brown one that used to belong to C K Spurlock. I think according to Ed it is the only known LA built COPO Camaro ?

Wasn't that the LA built COPO that had the AC bracket on the cowl or am I thinking of a different LA car?

That's right. I didn't think it was brown, but there sure weren't a whole lot of LA COPO's so you have to be kind of skeptical.

If this is the Red car in Sarasota ..I saw it...It's a decent car but who knows....had all the numbers written down from rear, block etc and in theory they were correct but he also knew it was tough to document a Cal. COPO.There were no factory docs or POP I don't think. Had frame ties on it too.I wrote all the numbers down but I think I threw them out !!!Are there ANY known Cal. built COPO Camaro's ? ED ?
