DID THE 69 CAMAROS WITH SINGLE REAR SPEAKER HAVE A CLIP ON COVER OR NOT ?

I'm pretty sure those insulated covers were for another model Chevy (I'm thinking full sized) and somewhere along the line, they ended up in the Camaro catalog, and Viola? lots of restorations ended up with them.

I bought a new '69 Malibu in December of 1968 and it had a rear speaker with a clip on cover. Don't know about a Camaro.
