Just thought I would share my new aquisition. 59 Bel Air. 71,000 miles. Unrestored (besides the obvious) Any suggestions for powertrain? I was thinking an LS dropout with trans.

Me too ! Get some hop up stuff for the 6 holer...you can make them run pretty damn good...or you could check out a World Products new aluminum 409 block and go as goofy as you want...and no one else will have one at the car cruises...

I'm on Charley &amp; Gags' team; ...... leave the 6 &amp; stick and enjoy the AC. Love the car, but for my personal taste, ........ I'd have to replace some rolling stock.
