Were is the date on a jack for a 69 z.on what part of the jack.and how is it decoded.

Sometimes they didn't get stamped very hard and sometimes they did,and in various locations...such as this.

You would be looking for 9A for January, sometimes they were stamped on the rivet. Sometimes they were not stamped at all. There are different variations of jack bases also, so there must have been more than one supplier of jacks.
