Hey guys,
I was flipping through an old Car Craft in the reading room and saw this photo of the '69 396 Pace Car from Indy and saw the hood lock on the hood. How many of the Z11's got these hood locks? ![]() Tony Huntimer Camaro Performers Magazine |

I'm sure the pacecar experts will chime in but I'm pretty sure they were only used on the car(s) that actually paced the race, as a safety precaution.

I don't see a pin protruding thru the hole in the hood.

Those are probably flush locking hood pins.
