Kim,
That's a casting number for the case rather than a part number. Its found cast into the aluminum '62 T10-1C case. The case has a bow tie cast into it also and came into production mid-'62. Same case was used on passenger & Vette. It might have a VIN stamped on it which would indicate which model it came from.
