I am looking at a 1971 Corvette that is thought to be a B/M car. It stared life as a real LS6 car and has most of the major Motion mods: Motion hood, flared fenders, old style Ansen Sprints, 4:56 rear with Motion bars, Hone-O-Drive, M22 with Hurst Super Shifter,Phase 3 CD, 3 barrel Holley,Fly Eye air cleaner, serious cam. The car does NOT have a sloped rear window or exposed headlights with covers.
It has original pop up headlights and a vacum tank to raise them due to the wild cam profile The seller claims the original owner did not want these items. I'm guessing this is a customer car that may have beem modified by Motion Performance or a "catalog car" where key items were purchased from Motion. Does anyone on this forum have a list of actual B/M Corvette VINs? I have heard dealing with Joel Rosen is a tough experience. Poor memory plus poor records have equated to clone cars being dubbed authentic and vice versa. Any tips? Regards-Dandy Don |
