Correct Clutch Fans for LS-6?
I was told there are two correct clutch fans for the LS-6's.
I have one with no part numbers, it has seven blades, four rivets, has a H, 3, and Front stamped on it. Is this a correct one? My friend says no he says the 772 fan is correct! Can anyone help me solve this mystery? Need photo's. Thanks! John

John [/ QUOTE ] I thought I read on this site on a past posting that many of the ls-6 fans were not stamped with a part number but were the 772 style. Rick (ss427) will hopefully confirm since I believe it was his feedback. My LS-6 fan is not stamped with a part number but my ls-5 one is a 772. They look the same side by side.

There may be two different style 772 fans, not counting the numbered and non-numbered. I will check a couple I have, but seems to me there was a squared off center hub, and a pointed center hub style. By that I mean the area where the blade is riveted. I'll get some pics today to show this.

Maybe Rick Nelson can shed some light on this. It's the first one I've heard of built that way.

my unrestored ls6 has 3:31 gears and was built in kansas at leeds plant has the 064 fan
