I have seen measurements from another site and wanted to be 100% sure that I have the correct measurements for these seat tracks. I figured I would post what someone else has found out about these tracks.
Lengths Outside track measures 14" center to center Inside track(towards tunnel) measures 14.5" ctc I take it this was measured from center to center between the feet. ![]() Now the heights of the feet from the bottom of the foot to the top of the track. Outside track 2 5/8 in the front and 2 1/2 in the back Inside track 3 1/2 in the front and 2 3/4 in the back Can anyone confirm this for sure?? If this is true for the 68-71 Nova Buckets, then I have myself a set. Thanks as always, Jed

I have pictures of my 68 L78 nova bucket seat tracks and those are the measurements. I never did measure the hieght of the tracks. The last set I sold was for 375.00 they are only specific to the 68-71 nova. S0 I would say they are! I can post pictures tonight If you would like.

There are slight variations in the track designs, not surprising, the '68's are little bit different but can be made to work on the '69-'71 (possibly '72?). The '69+ design has open slots on the front feet to accomodate the tolerances. The '68 track did not, but could be opened up to make it fit.
On Benjamin's '69 the: Rocker side track studs are 14.25" Tunnel side track studs are 14.625" On a friend's '69 the: Rocker side track studs are 14.375" Tunnel side track studs are 14.687" On a friend's '68 the: Rocker side track studs are 14.187" Tunnel side track studs are 14.625" On a friend's '68 the: Rocker side track studs are 14.000" Tunnel side track studs are 14.500" I used a set of tracks from a trashed '68 Nova bucket seat to finalize Benjamin's seat track dilemma. Anyone need a black, '68 Nova, passenger side, bucket seat without tracks? ![]()

What marlin stated does make sense. I know mine measured 14 and 14.5 inches. Most likely why they made the 69-71 nova's front hole slotted was due to the placement of the brackets and after welding them to the floor the heat might of moved the brackets some. They needed room for error I guess!

In production terms, they are not errors. They are called loose tolerances.

M, I might need the other metal bracket that the tracks mount to...I will have to check.
