NHRA Doug Herbert losses children
With sadness, my condolences go out to NHRA Top Fuel driver, owner and genuine nice guy Doug Herbert on the tragic loss of his 2 teenage boys.

Having lost my 20-year old son and #1 crew member Michael to leukemia a couple years ago, the death of a child is a loss no parent should ever have to endue.  GOD SPEED Jon and James. Rest In Peace. My deepest sympathies go out to the Herbert family as well.
Having lost my son Shawn 4 years ago, I can say the emotional trauma of losing a child is worse than anyone can imagine. Verne

I heard this yesterday but did not see it in print. I was hoping it was a dream. What a shame. Doug Herbert is truly one of the nice guys in all of racing. Losing one child is unimaginable, two....God help them.
