Default Gibb ZL-1's

I have a copy of Speed and super car 1970 and there is an article about a Dick Harrell prepared ZL-1. Gibb Chevrolet is on the doors and Ray Sullens name is on the front fender.

The article states that 52, specially built Camaros were produced by Chevrolet for the sole purpose of drag racing, prepared by Gibb and Harrell, and distributed thru out different dealerships.

Is this miss information? Just wondering were they got the number 52 from.
