------Dont know about any history but, per our conversations on here, I think the rubber floor-mat should be dyed blue. Am I right, guys????........Bill S

Not really, but sorta... If it had blue standard interior the mat would have indeed been blue, not black...but in this case the rubber mat should be replaced with blue carpeting, as this car has deluxe interior and shouldn't even have a rubber mat.

That car has been on and off on ebay. If the trim code is 736, that would mean that it had a light blue deluxe interior with bench. Which would mean it had carpet. In 1969, 737 was deluxe bucket seat. Does anyone know if 1970 had a 737 trim code for buckets? Kind of scratching my head at that. Why would GM have light blue buckets in 69 but not list a 737 trim code for buckets in 70? Did they only make a light blue deluxe bench in 70? That's weird.

According to my book, I only see a medium blue colored interior with corresponding numbers of 735 for standard interior & 736 for the custom interior. Both are listed as cloth seats with no bucket seat listing. I don't see a 737 trim code for buckets in 70...
Looks like a nice car. Like the wheel/tire changes. The steering wheel center is incorrect as well as the master cylinder and proportioning valve. They are for 1969 models, unless the car was a very early production 1970 and they may have put these parts on at the factory, but I doubt it.... Rich

Looks like some one used a blue 69 interior. Only three interior colors for SS cars in 70. Black, tan and gold. Earl
