Default Good news for Canadians importing cars!

Sorry, you still have to pay GST on them but no more 72 hr Title hold at US Customs! I guess they have been so busy with the amount of new cars being brought over that Homeland Security must of said to heck with it. It was a stupid rule anyways.

6 seperate guys I know just sold 11 cars this week.
All of them went East of Detroit.
I also know Legendary Motor Car Co. and other Canadian brokers are asking them for more inventory.
With the currency exchange what it is,I don't blame them one bit..

We were at the border and brought a car across today and it was still 72 hours needed. There was some one there turned back because the title hadn't been there 72 hours. Best to check first.

It takes a while to filter down to some of the crossing points. I just talked to an officer from the Brockville area crossing.

We cross weekly at Lewiston near Niagara Falls. I'll post if it changes here.
