63-65 409 blocks have the casting dates on the far right side of the bell housing flange below the deck. Is this what you are showing?

Hi, CFD ( central foundry division) is where the block was cast.

The numbers on the other side of the bell housing flange will be a Julian date, meaning the numerical day of the year.

Thanks guys!
I guess I was looking in the wrong spot for the date.. I was just trying to go through all the numbers on an Impala SS409 for a customer and was stumped as I thought that was the correct location for the casting date..... |

I think the new meaning of CFD should be "Can't Find Date". No offense to anybody, it's just that a lot of my friends and people selling these blocks over the years had a hard time finding the casting date on these blocks.
