Default 69 Camaro OER Dash Panel Quality Fit ?

Anyone had in experience with the OER 69 Camaro Dash Panel. My current one has had the all to common aftermarket radio hack job. How do thess things fit and the old stuff fit to them? Debating using one I picked up very cheap from a guys project leftovers or doing the Ebay thing an looking for a nice original. Thanks.

Haven't used one myself, but have read pretty good feedback from those that have.

Everything may fit up, I don't know. However, the ones I saw did not have the right finish, particularly on the smooth areas. The whole thing looked too dull to me. That's been several years, and they may have improved.

If you are patient, you can probably find an un-hacked up original and get it replated for a little more than what a repop would cost.

If you mean the Instrument panel carrier, I've used 6 or 7 of them in the past 3+ years and have found the fit to be very good. Can't comment of the finish being different than originals. The only problem is they come pre cut for LH speedo and RH fuel gauge. If you need to install a tach or a center fuel gauge you have to modify them by hand, gets a little scary having to take a power tool to a new carrier. The last NOS one I saw on eBay went for 700.00+
