Default Tilt vs. Non-Tilt steering wheel hub

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the steering wheel hub for a 67 tilt/non tilt steering column. I recently sold a aftermarket wood wheel to a gentleman with a 67 El Camino with a tilt column. I gave him a new grant hub kit that is supposed to fit both tilt and non tilt wheels for 1967. He says the horn contact is at a larger radius than what the hub in the kit allows. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

Thanks,

Jason
