Does anybody know if the 1968-72 era Chevelle Bench Seat will bolt in directly to a 68-72 Nova with no modifications. I have always been under the impression they are interchangable.

My Hollander manual only lists seats through '65, but does list front seat tracks 68/70 and these are different.
Hope thats some help.

Just got a mint bench seat from apparently a 1967 Chevelle-it does not have a cut-out or rise in the center of the frame and my 68 Nova has that cut-out to clear the hump All the dimensions (lenght, depth, height) otherwise are bang on Ty 1968 NovaSS L78 |

Thanks Ty....appreciate the info. Is the cutout you are refering to something that can be modified on the Chevelle seat to fit the Nova?

I do not know I can only assume that if someone wanted to get creative with the mig or oxy/acet torch you could rebuild the frame to have the line continuous (if you understand what I am saying, and then reapply the repo cover. Fact is I really don't know There are more autorities on the topic out there I am sure Good luck Ty |
