I have seen this car out and about many times. It was at Fall 06 Vettefest. What a time capsule!

Definately needs era-correct rolling stock. The underhood is kinda fun, I like the multi-coiled fuel lines.
But that interior, ugh. I hate just about everything that was done to it, and would be hard pressed to leave it like that if I owned it. Yuck. |

30 years ago you could fill a stadium with cars painted, chromed and with guts like that. It looks perfect for a early seventies custom.

When I was stationed at NAS Coranado in San Diego in 68 and 69 guys would take there rides down to TJ for the black roll and tuck or diamond plete like this car has, all for about 150 bucks ! Lots of the cars on base were done just like this, it was really cool then, you had to be there. Mike |

obviously it has a lot to do with when and where you grew up, that determine individual tastes. Before I reply, I check the age of the person posting. I remember when it was taboo to have anything but a black interior.
![]() I brought home a convertible with a white gut and top when I was about 18 and damn near got laughed out of the neighborhood. ![]() (I never passed up a deal I knew I could flip) ![]() |

Chris,
You're so right about the interior colors. I passed on a few nice cars for exactly that reason. What a dope! ![]() Steve
