Default DZ engine code translation

I just looked at a Z/28 with a DZ block in it with this code. V1K19DZ. I have never seen a letter in the 3rd place (other than "I" for a 1). Anyone know?

The second set is the month. Can't figure where a K would be in the mix. Should be 01-12. (Jan. to Dec.)

That's what I think to Sam.. The car is early build 11D and the block is a 386 cast. Has the short rear spoiler to.. Isn't your car around that build?
