I have an air cleaner base and am wondering what it original application was. The rear of the base is flat. It looks factory but I do not remember seeing one like it before. I will post a few pictures. Any idea what it went to? Thanks!

Looks factory, with the exception of the flat section. Almost looks as if someone formed it that way manually.

You think it may be Chevy II with the base flat for firewall clearance?

I was never able to figure out what this base was for. I posted it on EBay. It may be a good deal for someone. Mystery Base
