I spent a few more hours up in the attic of that old, soon to be sold off, property. Here was a set of very well domed pistons mounted on a set of rods. Anyone know what they are? The pistons were std bore, TRW part number L2242F. There was also a set of .030 pistons in a TRW box L2403 labeled as "350 Chevy". I didnt buy these but if someone needs them I can probably pick them up.

Here's a holy grail find: looking through some random flywheels I found this. There were no books up in the attic to cross reference it but there really is only one application for a 130 tooth, 8-lug; 35 pound flywheel. You guessed it: 1970 and 1971 426 Hemi. Still in the Weber box from 1971 or so.

Here's a nice find: a pair of 15x7 GM bolt pattern American Racing 200S "Daisy" wheels, still in the box, dated 1973. There were only 2 of them, otherwise i would have really jumped for joy (and hit my head on the rafters...again) These are the same exact wheels I have on my Charger. I had no idea they were supposed to be this shiny! They still had the warranty cards in the boxes.

Here is the ramainder of the random stuff:
Remember these: Cal Custom oil filler neck and cap for a early to mid 60's small block? ![]() Some Stewart Warner guage items: an electric oil pressure gauge and mounting kit and a tach sending unit (the box indicated it was for 900 series tachometers) ![]() Some Hawk brand tunig tools: fual/exhaust analyzer and tach dwell meter: ![]() A whole bunch of assorted KD tools, AGC fuses, 1157 clear and amber glass bulbs... ![]() And this was a fun one: Remember back in the 70's when every fiberglass manufacturer made these "mudflap" flairs for the Trans Ams. There were a mirror image of the flairs that came factory installed in front of the front and rear wheelwells, only they installed behind the wheel wells as mudflaps. This was a rear set. No way in hell I'm installing them on my car but they caught my eye because they were wrapped in a December 26, 1971 Michigan newspaper. ![]() |

Steve,
Hard to tell from the angle, but I believe the first piston image is an L/78 or L/72 piston. OD will tell you for sure. Steve
