Default Yenko Clone now called tribute cars

Ok I just got back from Atlantic City
Saw quite a few Yenko’s There is a NEW word they are using
I was told We do not use the word Clone any more they are now wording them as
Yenko Tribute cars There were no real ones there. There was a lot of Tribute cars
I had people get upset when I used the word clone. To me what is the deference
Tribute or clone it still is not the real thing

The kind of guy who gets upset when his "tribute" is called a CLONE has something else up his sleeve, like selling the damned thing as an original somewhere down the road. Maybe the proper reaction would have been to begin using words such as fake, copy, counterfeit, ringer, facsimile, representation, When I finish my ZL1 "tribute" (READ CLONE), it will have the word clone engraved on it in multiple locations. I like the word CLONE, it is simple and to the point. Rant over.

I really don't care what people call them. Non-real cars
are fake by definition. It's just marketing on their part.

I have absolutely no problem with someone making an SS,
Yenko, COPO, ZL-1, etc. out of a 6-banger Camaro. Not
everyone can afford these cars. In fact, most can't. I
know we all agree that they just shouldn't be passed off
as real examples. However, we are now seeing a trend where
some buyers don't seem to care about lineage as long as they
have that "special" car in their garage. What happens beyond
that point is where the real issue beings as they can possibly
be sold as real cars to the unsuspecting.

Who cares? You could call a grape a watermelon. Your pecker a 5lb. Kroger chub-pak.

You could even call OJ a fine young man but he would still be a throat slashing, crack-head, lying, low-life, murdering psychopath.

And you could call me a genius!!
