Default Day-2 Tire Change

I bought a new set of Mickey Thompson Indy Profile tires a little while back and never had them mounted. Then I saw Darren's L78 and fell in love with the look again. Found these Indy Profile's on ebay and although they ride like crap, the look is just killer. I could have gone a little fatter in the back, but all in all, its a nice change from BFG radials.

What do you think?

very cool, what are the tire and wheel sizes?
did you know that vintage registration in NY is a ton cheaper than the plates you have on there now?

-The tires are Mickey Thompson Indy Profile SS Redlines in F70x15 (fronts) and G60x15 (rear).
-The wheels are Kelsey Hayes Stripper wheels 15x6 (all 4 corners)

I did not know about price difference in registration. I was going to put the original style NY plates on the car but I have since decided to sell it.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

-Dan

I do not think these tires are new... The guy I bought them from has had them a while but never drove the car they were on. I doubt the redline are still made from MT.
The MT's I bought a while back were raised white letter, the same tires on Darren's Camaro.

Side note... The ride quality on the MT's are pretty good I think...

Rats! I have a set of old TTs, all restored and awaiting the right redline tires. Probably go with Diamondback radials for my Day 2 look.
