Morning All, Merry Christmas, have a little down time here and figured I would throw this on. Does anyone know an effective way to remove rust stains from plastic trim pieces, ie kick panels.? My car sat a long time and I guess a screw or something rusted and when it got moist, a watery rust drip flowed down the side of the panel. I cleaned up the panel to install it back on the car, then polished it with some vinyl protectant and I cannot for the life of me get rid of this rusty drip mark, it will not shine up like the rest of the piece, just stays dull and you can still see it. any help is appreciated, everyone have a good holiday. SULLY

try the stuff I used on my Trans Am. It won't harm paint or plastic but dissolves rust:
