There used to be a Motion Ford-Mercury racing group...maybe out of Canada? .
I ended up with a Jacket back in the 80's I think at Mosport road circuit w/ some kind of Motion Ford logo on it...I know nothing of them, no idea how far back their history goes or if they were into drag cars? .
Haven't seen the jacket in years, I expect it's still around and I'll try and dig it up and post a pic if I can find it? .

This car was featured in the March 2005 issue of Hemmings Muscle Machines. It has 8 excellent pages of photos and information on the car. It was a dealership out of London Ontario; Rankin Ford. They wanted a high profile racing image to boost Ford performance parts. It was raced in three different classes in three years. The dealer was NOT a high performance dealership however. The photo above was taken in the mid 80's at a new-car showroom (not Rankin). It might have received that "MOTION" tag then. I will scan and post the article. That is if I can figure it out.
