Default So What's a Yenko?

That's the title of an excellent article about the history and specifics of Yenko's in the December issue of Sports Car Market Magazine. "Yenko.Net" gets a favorable mention too.

Glad you liked the article, I am the guy that wrote it. Tom Clary and Mike Guarise were kind enough to make sure my facts were right before we went to print - I know how violent Yenko guys get when somebody prints bad info

For those of you that do not subscribe to Sports Car Market magazine (shame on you - best car magazine out there for collectors IMHO), I have posted the article on my website:

http://www.colinsclassicauto.com/

Click on the "Articles" tab in the nav bar, and click on "Dec '06" - a PDF will pop up.

Regards,
Colin

No, Belair, I must have left my copy at your place. It's probably next to my shoes - you know, on the other side of the bed....

And Bruce, yeah, I bet you haven't been practicing your go-kart skills. I ain't buying the bridge you have for sale, either!

I agree Colin. It is the best enthusiast magazine out there. The writing, research, and depth of the articles is without peer. Hemmings Muscle Machines is a close second.

Is anyone out here on the "left coast" going to the SCM open house and party in Portland on December 1st? I'm thinking of driving the "tirebird" up from the Bay Area just to meet everyone at the magazine. Hope it doesn't rain.
